RAPID CITY, SD – The Rapid City Arts Council (RCAC) is thrilled to announce the continuation of Art Walks! These exciting events take place on the first Friday of every month in downtown Rapid City, from 5-8pm. Mark your calendars for the upcoming dates: July 5th, August 2nd, and September 6th.
Art Walks are designed to ignite your creativity and show off all the amazing talent we have right here in Rapid City. Explore galleries, shops, and restaurants as they craft an experience for you. Connect with talented artists like Bonny Fleming at Visit Rapid City, discover your new favorite original by the Northern Plains Watercolor Society showcased in the Tasting Room of the Firehouse Wine Cellar, and snag a handcrafted soap or bath salt by Planted Beauty Co at Canvas 2 Paint. To further enhance the experience, participating vendors and restaurants will offer delicious regional bites and beverages. Participating Venues:
This self-guided art adventure allows you to explore at your own pace. Handcrafting your new scent at Pure Fox’s Perfume Bar only takes about 20 minutes leaving you plenty of time to Sip and Shop at the Dandelion Bouquet. When you’re finished walking, pull up a chair and enjoy free live music in the square. Bert Malcolm and the Tidal Waves will be live from 5-6pm. Become the performer from 6-8pm when the Emerging Performing Artists Mic will be Open for you, get your name on the list. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate the holiday weekend immersed in the heart of Rapid City's dynamic art scene!
