Rapid City Arts Council Invites Emerging Artists to Submit Proposals for Spring 2025 Exhibitions

Exhibition Dates: Spring 2025
Submission Deadline: November 30, 2024
Location: Bruce H. Lien Cultural Café & Gallery, Dahl Arts Center

RAPID CITY, SD – Emerging visual artists are invited to submit proposals for exhibitions in the Bruce H. Lien Cultural Café & Gallery at the Dahl Arts Center. Presented by the Rapid City Arts Council, this unique opportunity is designed to support emerging artists, helping them gain public exposure through solo or group exhibitions.

Submission Opportunities:

• Solo Exhibitions: Artists interested in showcasing their original work and advancing their careers are invited to submit proposals for solo exhibitions. This opportunity provides a platform to take center stage and highlight individual artistic expression.
• Group Exhibitions: For those who prefer collaboration, group exhibition proposals are welcomed. Groups of up to 6 artists may apply, with each artist required to submit an individual application, indicating their participation in the group and listing fellow members.
• All Mediums: Artists working in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums are encouraged to apply. Proposals from artists across all forms of artistic expression are welcomed. 

This opportunity is open to emerging artists in the early stages of their careers and have not yet held a solo exhibition. If you feel you are not quite ready to exhibit, our Exhibits team is available to provide support. Contact us to schedule a one-on-one meeting to discuss your artistic goals and receive tailored guidance. 

Application Requirements:

• Complete the Emerging Visual Artists (EVA) application on the Rapid City Arts Council website.
• Or, email your completed application, artist statement, and 10-20 images of potential works to [email protected].
