Deborah Mitchell's Studio Sale

Time to Downsize!

Studio Sale: Art from My Map File

 Saturday, December 4, from 10 – 2
 Dahl Art Center’s Cultural Café

I’ve been inspired and influenced by printmaking from a young age. When I was growing up our garden path was lined with broken lithography stones, and I took printmaking classes at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Eventually, I went on to receive a Maters of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Utah State University.
Over the years I have amassed a dynamic collection. However, in an effort to downsize I’m ready to divest myself. I will be selling prime works of art on paper on Saturday, December 4, from 10 – 2 at the Dahl Art Center’s Cultural Café in Rapid City.
There will be some highly collectible works to choose from, all the way from Hokusai and Hiroshige to charming Victorian lithographs, to well crafted student work from the Printmaking Department at Utah State University where I started collecting in earnest.
I will also be selling several map files, art materials, and other studio supplies.

Saturday, December 4:
10 – 2       Flat file sale starts at 10. No early birds. Cash or credit card only!
The Rapid City Arts Council staff and Board of Directors thanks the City of Rapid City for continuously supporting our mission and the arts. The generosity of our many volunteers, donors, and members drives our mission to champion inclusive, innovative and inspiring arts opportunities to enrich the communities we serve.  Additional support comes from the South Dakota Community Foundation, Black Hills Community Foundation, and the South Dakota Arts Council with funds from the State of South Dakota through the Department of Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts. Special thanks to our events sponsor, Bierschbach Equipment. The Dahl Arts Center is a municipal facility of the City of Rapid City and is managed by the Rapid City Arts Council on behalf of the Rapid City community.
