The Rapid City Arts Council's 16th annual "The Goods" exhibition and evening event honors more than sixty incredible artists from the Black Hills region. The Goods exhibition opens at the Dahl Arts Center on Friday, October 28, and culminates with a celebratory evening on Friday, November 11, from 5pm-8pm when attendees participate in a lottery sale and celebration of the donated artworks.

This 2022 annual art party will be an evening to remember; filled with art, music, dance, food and drinks. You won't want to miss this amazing night out with the arts in Rapid City. Join us!

How the GOODS works:
- Attend The Goods: Register today! Your ticket includes an all-access pass to The Goods lottery, evening entertainment, and supporting arts and culture in our community. Food and refreshments will be served.
- Enter for your chance to win an art piece. Artists participating in The Goods generously donate their artworks for a "lottery sale" exhibition. Guests sign up to win favorite pieces in lottery format; the artist of the piece is kept secret until the winner of each piece is announced. Each original ready-to-hang artwork sells for $125 and is signed and titled by the artist on the back.
- Your support: Proceeds from The GOODS support the Rapid City Arts Council in our mission to champion inspiring, innovating and inclusive arts opportunities for the communities we serve.
Let’s CELEBRATE the arts!

The Rapid City Arts Council staff and Board of Directors thanks the City of Rapid City for continuously supporting our mission and the arts. The generosity of our many volunteers, donors, and members drives our mission to champion inclusive, innovative and inspiring arts opportunities to enrich the communities we serve.  Additional support comes from the South Dakota Community Foundation, Black Hills Community Foundation, and the South Dakota Arts Council with funds from the State of South Dakota through the Department of Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts. Special thanks to our events sponsor, Bierschbach Equipment. The Dahl Arts Center is a municipal facility of the City of Rapid City and is managed by the Rapid City Arts Council on behalf of the Rapid City community.
