ART WALK

 August 2, and September 6
​from 5-8pm.

This self-guided art experience is designed for our community to come together to enjoy arts and culture Downtown Rapid City. From live music, poetry readings, painting activities for families, or a pop-up visual art exhibition, there is so much fun to be had during Art Walks!

HOW IT WORKS 
This is a choose your own adventure activity. Participants can start at any spot on the map and simply walk to any participating businesses. You’re on your own schedule to enjoy the vibrant art community we have in Rapid City. Each of the participating businesses will be open from 5 to 8 PM. If you don't know where to start, the Dahl has maps with all 20 participating business locations or choose a curated path below!

Member Preview
September 6 | 5-7pm

Join us for an exclusive evening at the Friends of the Dahl Member Preview, celebrating the opening reception of the 50th Anniversary Benefit Art Auction.

As a cherished member, you are invited to a viewing from 5-7pm on September 6. Enjoy early access to the exquisite artworks, the opportunity to purchase art before it enters the Art Auction, refreshments, and the opportunity to mingle with artists and fellow art enthusiasts.

Following the Member Preview, the gallery will open to all from 7- 8pm. This special evening coincides with the final Art Walk of the season, making it a perfect occasion to artistically and economically contribute to the thriving arts scene here in Rapid City!

While we understand some neighborhoods and businesses will be more accessible than others, the Dahl Arts Center facilities are compliant with ADA regulations for public accommodations.
