Volunteers are Friends of the Dahl who contribute a variety of skills, energies, and experiences that delight our visitors. Our volunteers can do it all, communications, guest services, development, facilities, learning, the gift shop, guest services, events and more. |

- Inspiring Exhibitions: Over 8,000 individuals will have the opportunity to experience captivating art exhibitions by regional luminaries like J. Desy Schoenewies, Tim Peterson, Jean Selvy Wyss and Keith BraveHeart, all accessible at no cost of admission.
- Opportunities for Local Artists: Your contribution results in $105,000+ in direct support to local artists who sell artwork, perform, and teach at the Dahl.
- Musical Enjoyment: Eclectic musicians like JAS Quintet and Jami Lynn breathe life into our world through mesmerizing performances enchanting the hearts of 360 concert-goers.
- Community Engagement: Over 60 organizations will find a home for their arts and culture programs, ranging from the poetry society to Native art markets and dance schools.
- Youth Empowerment: Over 800 young minds will blossom with creativity and confidence through arts classes at the Dahl and in public schools, supported by more than $10,000 in scholarships for children from lower-income families.

$125 Art supplies for 15 youth in our classes, camps, and studios. $60 An artist leading free art lessons for families most Saturdays. $100 Youth participation in art classes and camps. $1,500 Securing an act for the Live @ the Dahl concert series. $15 Providing free admission to the Dahl’s galleries. $25 A free Saturday Art Adventure to inspire the littlest artists $250 Funding an open mic night and workshop for emerging professional artists. $5,000 Sponsoring a three-month exhibition of professional regional artwork. $50 Lighting and installation supplies for one exhibition. $75 One month curation of the 300-piece permanent collection. $10 Supplies and instruction for each student in a drop-in afterschool art class. $250 A temporary pop-up exhibition or artists' talk at the Dahl. $12 Supplies and instruction for one participant in our free Teen Art Studio program. |
