The Land Report Collective is a group of 10 artists (Leticia Bajuyo, Michael Baum, Jason Brown, Brian Jobe, David Jones, Patrick Kikut, Jean Laughton, Casey McGuire, Shelby Shadwell, Marty Two Bulls Jr.) who deal with landscape in fundamental ways and as a foundational reference point. The artwork will focus on the impact of human development and agricultural production on natural landscapes, environmental issues related to the extraction of natural resources, and industrial manipulation of wild places, particularly relating to the landscape in and around the Rapid City and Black Hills area. The title of the exhibition is the geographical coordinates for Rapid City. This exhibition will be guest curated by Marty Two Bulls, Jr.

A Midsummer Night's Dream
June 12 | 5-7pm

BHCT's Summer Stage is back with A Midsummer Night's Dream - featuring sixteen characters played by only three actors. All may be resolved come morning, but in the moonlight, confusion and hilarity reign.

  • Create your own magical flower - and maybe have it used in the play!
  • Play theatre games with actors
  • Learn a song and dance and be a part of the show!
6pm: A Midsummer Night's Dream

with Performers: Brady, Willa, Delanee

Drawing Group
Sundays | 1-3pm

Sessions are organized and facilitated by the volunteer instructor and take place in the Open Art Studio on Sundays from 1-3pm. The format is flexible: participants who prefer to work more independently are welcome to do so, while those seeking feedback or general guidance may receive support throughout the session. These sessions are not intended to function as one-on-one lessons, but rather as a collaborative studio environment with light instruction and shared learning.

The RCAC provides basic drawing materials, including charcoal, pencils, erasers, newsprint, and a limited amount of drawing paper. Participants are encouraged to bring preferred personal supplies, especially sketchbooks, drawing pads, or tablets suitable for drawing practice.
