SOUTH DAKOTA ARTS COUNCIL FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
The South Dakota Arts Council is encouraging artists, arts organizations and other nonprofit groups to apply for grants to assist in funding arts projects and programs throughout the state.

Nonprofit organizations can seek funding support in the form of arts challenge grants, statewide services grants, project grants and importation of musicians grants.

RAPID CITY ARTS COUNCIL | CITY INVESTMENT GRANT

Grants are available to provide general operating support (GOS) within the criteria to arts organizations that present performing or visual arts or, through their core activities provide arts programs that are vital to the cultural life of the community.  The annual grant is funded by the City of Rapid City and managed and dispersed by the Rapid City Arts Council through an application process.

The Rapid City Arts Council staff and Board of Directors thanks the City of Rapid City for continuously supporting our mission and the arts. The generosity of our many volunteers, donors, and members drives our mission to champion inclusive, innovative and inspiring arts opportunities to enrich the communities we serve.  Additional support comes from the South Dakota Community Foundation, Black Hills Area Community Foundation, and the South Dakota Arts Council with funds from the State of South Dakota through the Department of Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts. The Dahl Arts Center is a municipal facility of the City of Rapid City and is managed by the Rapid City Arts Council on behalf of the Rapid City community.
