Congratulations on receiving a City Art Invest Fund (AIF) grant award!
AIF grant awards are provided through the Community Enrichment (Arts Contingency Fund) budget for the City of Rapid City in a fund to the Rapid City Arts Council, the city’s designated organization for development of the arts. If you need any assistance with your award, please contact the grant administrator: Rapid City Arts Council Email: [email protected] Phone: 605-394-1785 PROCESS To Accept Your Grant Sign and return the GRANT AGREEMENT and W-9 (sent from "Adobe Acrobat Sign on behalf of Rapid City Arts Council"). Award Payments Payments for grant awards are issued by the RCAC in equal quarterly installments via a mailed check. Timing of payment during the quarter varies based on the city’s disbursement schedule (RCAC does not control timing of funds). Final Report A grant report will be due on November 15, 2025, and is required for both the final (Q4) grant payment and future funding. Alternate due dates can be arranged in advance to accommodate dates of seasonal grant activities. This grant report can be submitted in the format of your choosing and must include the following sections: (1) A summary of how funding was used, (2) outcomes related to your original proposal, including estimated number and characteristics of audiences engaged, (3) material demonstrating fulfillment of the credit requirement (item 10.1 in these guidelines) to fulfill the credit requirement in recognizing the City of Rapid City and the Rapid City Arts Council. Credit By accepting grant funds from the Rapid City Arts Council, you agree to credit the Rapid City Arts Council and the City of Rapid City.
City Council Attendance (optional/recommended): Grantees are strongly encouraged to attend a city council meeting to thank the City of Rapid City in person. Meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the first Monday of the month at City Council Chambers (300 E. 6th St). Event Sharing (optional/recommended): Let’s get the word out about your amazing events throughout the year, email [email protected] to get on the Rapid City Arts Council’s event calendar. Accounting Requirement: All grant recipients must follow acceptable accounting procedures in maintaining accurate, current, and complete records which identify adequately the source and use of grant funds. All grant recipients must allow access to any books, documents, papers and records maintained to account for funds expended under the terms and conditions of the grant for the purpose of making an audit examination. Any duly authorized representation of the RCAC may make excerpts and transcripts. Recipients must maintain complete and accurate records, which are supported by source documentation and all financial transactions, related to the grant for a period of three (3) years. |
