Art Start Studio & Free Art Activites

As a community partner its our duty to provide a safe and creative environment that anyone and everyone can enjoy. The Art Start Studio, located inside the galleries at the Dahl Arts Center is free and open for people of all ages and abilities.

Saturday Art Adventure is a free family friendly activity hosted every Saturday at the Dahl from 12:30-2:30. Let us know your coming and we'll have the supplies ready!

Open Pottery Studio
Equipped with two pottery rooms, 13 wheels, two kilns, a slab roller, an extruder, large work tables, two wedging tables, basic potter/ceramic tools, and storage lockers assigned to you, our Open Pottery Studio (OPS) is a member based space ready to take your hobby to new heights.

The Rapid City Arts Council staff and Board of Directors thanks the City of Rapid City for continuously supporting our mission and the arts.
