The South Dakota Artists' Legacy Project is a collaborative production of the Rapid City Arts Council (RCAC) and filmmaker Randal Iverson. The RCAC believes in the value of promoting regional artists, educating students and archiving artists in our permanent collection. We are proud to present these artists through this project.

SARAH ROGERS
We are very pleased to present Sarah Rogers as our first artist in this series. Sarah is a well-known and extremely talented regional painter who is at the apex of her career. Her work is shown nationally with her primary South Dakota gallery being located in Hill City. Sarah's watercolor paintings are immediately recognizable through her unique style of paint application and vibrant use of color. Sarah's subject matter usually focuses on birds and animals or as she likes to call them "critters". |
