Art Lottery
The centerpiece of the event is the art lottery. Here's a breakdown of how it operates: Donated Artworks: Local and regional artists have generously contributed their artworks to the event. These artworks are uniformly sized at 8” x 8”. What makes this lottery exciting is that the identity of the artist behind each piece remains a closely guarded secret until the lottery drawing, which takes place at the conclusion of the Art Party. Guest Participation: Event attendees get to participate in the lottery by entering their names under the artwork they desire in the gallery. However, there's a twist – each artwork has limited slots, with only 25 spots available for names. It's important to note that each attendee can only win one piece, adding an element of suspense to the lottery. Art Sale: Every one of these original artworks is available at a fixed price of $125. The culmination of the Art Party is a live lottery drawing where the artist of each piece is revealed alongside the lucky winner. When a guest wins an artwork through the lottery, they not only gain a stunning piece of art but also provide essential support for the mission of the arts council. This way, attendees not only celebrate the arts but actively contribute to making them more accessible and inclusive for all. |
