Best of the West: High School Talent Takeover at the Dahl WHAT: Best of the West Annual Juried High School Art Show EXHIBIT DATES: Friday, April 26 - May 25, 2024 ARTISTS’ RECEPTION: Friday, April 26, 5-7pm AWARDS CEREMONY: 6pm WHERE: Inez & Milton Shaver Gallery & Denise Du Broy Gallery | Dahl Arts Center The Rapid City Arts Council (RCAC) is pleased to announce the Best of the West Annual Juried High School Art Show, featuring artwork from students attending high schools in the Rapid City area. The exhibition will be held in the Inez & Milton Shaver Gallery and the Denise Du Broy Gallery at the Dahl Arts Center. It will run from April 26 to May 25, 2024. Join us for the opening reception on April 26 from 5 to 7pm, where an awards ceremony will take place at 6pm. Best of the West highlights the work of students from Central, Stevens, St. Thomas More, and Douglas high schools who have demonstrated remarkable artistic promise throughout the academic year. This showcase has a wide range of artistic disciplines including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, printmaking, and drawing.
