Weeds and Wildflowers of South Dakota by Barbara Sparks Barbara Sparks, a renowned watercolor artist from Sioux Falls, invites art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of South Dakota's landscapes. Inspired by her journeys through the backroads during the pandemic, Barbara's exhibition captures the essence of wildflowers found near Rapid City. The exhibition will be within the Milton and Inez Shaver Gallery at the Dahl Arts Center with an opening reception on November 17 from 5-7pm, including an artist's talk at 6:00pm. Barbara Sparks, originally a potter, transitioned to watercolor in 2002.
